چکیده

Abstract Gotu Kola (Centella asiatica L.), known as pegagan is a plant with many benefits, including used to repair burns, hypertrophic wound healing, and an inflammatory agent. C. grows in tropical Asia various countries such Indonesia, Philippines, China, India, Sri Lanka, Madagascar. has four bioactive components, namely asiatic acid, asiaticoside, madecassic madecassoside. Microwave-Assisted Extraction (MAE) one of the methods for extracting compounds leaf. In this study, extraction carried out using Solvent-Free (SFME) method. Optimization of phenol and flavonoid extraction compound of Adiantum capillus-veneris L. using ultrasound assisted extraction

Background: Antioxidants are molecules which able to control free radicals and prevent the oxidants of other molecules considering undesirable effects of synthetic anti oxidant. In recent years using of natural anti oxidant gets the great importance. The secondary metabolisms of plants are rich sources of phenol and flavonoids considered as the most important natural antioxidant.  Objective: In...

Effect of Centella asiatica L

In the present study the effect of Centella asiatica L. extract was studied against the genotoxic doses of ethinylestradiol on human lymphocytes culture. The different doses of C. asiatica L. extract i.e. 1.075×10 -4 , 2.125×10 -4 and 3.15×10 -4 g/ml were treated separately with 5 μM of ethinylestradiol. Similar treatments were given with 10 μM of ethinylestradiol. The treatments result in a si...

An organic solvent-free microwave-assisted extraction of some priority pollutants of phenols in lake sediments.

Alkaline water was used for the microwave-assisted extraction of some priority pollutants of phenols in sediments, i.e. phenol (Ph), 2-chlorophenol (2CP), 2,4-dichlorophenol (2,4DCP), 4-chlorophenol (4CP), 4-dinitrophenol (4NP) and pentachlorophenol (PCP). This organic solvent-free extraction procedure was optimized by studying the parameters such as pH, volume of the alkaline water, extraction...
